Modern Slavery Policy Statement

1. Introduction

This policy statement applies to all persons working for Fastbox or on behalf of Fastbox in any capacity, including employees at all levels in the organisation, directors, managers, supervisors, agency staff, volunteers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers. Fastbox strictly prohibits the use of modern slavery, human trafficking, and child labour in our operations and supply chain. Fastbox is committed to implementing systems and controls aimed at ensuring that modern slavery and child labour are not taking place anywhere within our organisation or in any of our supply chains. We expect that our suppliers will hold their own supply chain to the same standards.

2. Commitments

Modern Slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, bonded and child labour, and human trafficking. Modern Slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. Fastbox commits to the following:

  • An expectation that all persons and organisations working with or on behalf of Fastbox to support and uphold these commitments.
  • A zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in our organisation and our supply chains.
  • The prevention, detection and reporting of modern slavery in any part of our organisation or supply chain.
  • Engaging with our stakeholders and suppliers to address the risk of modern slavery in our operations and supply chains.
  • Taking a risk-based approach to our contracting processes and keep them under review.

3. Other Requirements

Fastbox also requires that:

  • Employment and Recruitment Agencies and other Third Parties supplying workers to our organisation confirm their compliance with our Policy.
  • As part of our ongoing risk assessment and due diligence process, Fastbox will consider whether circumstances warrant the carrying out of supplier audits for their compliance with our Policies.
  • If Fastbox finds that other individuals or organisations working on our behalf have breached this policy, we will ensure that we take appropriate action. This action may range from considering remediation as a result of the breach and whether that might represent the best outcome for those individuals impacted by the breach, up to considering the termination of any ongoing relationship with the breaching party.
